What is The New Leaf Network all about anyways?
We’re a collaborative, relational and creative missional organization that supports, equips and connects church planters, spiritual entrepreneurs and missional practitioners in post-Christian Canada.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or leading an existing community, we want to help you start something new right here on Canadian soil.
Our ever-increasing post-Christian culture here in Canada needs new forms of Jesus-centered cultural engagement, neighbourhood connection and missional innovation. We’re calling Canadian Jesus-followers to unite together, equip one another, cultivate our unique Canadian voice and start something new from coast-to-coast.
Through online collaboration spaces, interactive learning workshops, events, and story-telling, this growing collective of Canadian, Jesus-centred leaders is a community of innovators, both church and lay leaders, working to lead from the emerging future.
Who is The New Leaf Network for?
(the short answer is everyone, but we’ll indulge you with a longer answer too)
The New Leaf Network appeals to planters, pastors, missional practitioners, lay leaders and neighbourhood catalysts who:
1. Desire connection and brave space for relational conversations with other Canadian, Jesus-centred*, planters, pastors, missional practitioners, academics and neighbourhood catalysts from across a range of traditions, church expressions + physical locations.
2. Are desiring practical equipping that is missional, contextual, and formational while deeply relational and distinctively Canadian.
3. Value a diversity of Canadian backgrounds, traditions, locations, and cross-pollination while holding a likemindedness for Jesus, scripture & mission in the ongoing discernment of the on-the-ground Canadian issues and opportunities facing Canadian church leaders.
4. Are looking for created + curated distinctively Canadian resources including online learning cohorts, workshops, articles, podcasts, conferences and books.
5. Interested in conversations and learning opportunities with Jesus-y Canadian entrepreneurs, artists, creatives, lay leaders and academics in their role of co-creating, along with clergy, the future of the Canadian church.

Who is behind The New Leaf Network?
New Leaf is shaped and guided by a co-creative and partnered effort of a Staff Team, Stakeholders Group and Board of Governance.
Together, these groups represent involvement from across the Wesleyan, Baptist, Reformed, Holiness, Anglican, Charismatic, Anabaptist, and other traditions.
The Staff Team is responsible for catalyzing the initiative, providing overall vision and direction, and cultivating collaborations with like-minded groups on national and regional levels.
