What is a Learning Party?
At New Leaf, we love a good party. Our Learning Party events are one day gatherings designed to highlight all the things you love about a conference - interaction, connection and collaboration with other liked minded leaders, community connectors, church planters and spiritual entrepreneurs.
At a Learning Party you’ll make new friends, be inspired by courageous followers of Christ who are taking risks in the Kingdom and have fun (since you know, it is a party after-all.)
Instead of charging hundreds of dollars per ticket, it’s a simple $30 for registration and which includes coffee, snacks & lunch.
Instead of maxing out our capacity, we limit our numbers to create the best possible environment for conversations and connecting.
Instead of listening to message after message by “gurus” and being filled with information, our goal is for conversation and genuine connection with those who are walking paths similar to ours.
What is the goal of the party?
The goal of a Learning Party is to connect with other Christ followers across denominational lines and see how the Spirit of God is working in various missional expressions in your Region. We want people to be encouraged that they too can see their God given ideas and dreams come to fruition.
Our vision is for those who’ve longed to start new things, would see themselves in the stories of others and within God’s bigger story for Canada. Story matters. It’s sacred. Sharing the stories of others, at various stages of their lives and missional endeavours, helps us to see the heart and faithfulness of our God and inspires us to follow the Spirit of God in starting news.
We want you and your story to join the party!
Our simple ask is that those who register for the gathering be willing to share their stories to spark conversation. For 10 minutes (or less) we want to hear from you. Your new expressions of kingdom community, re-imagined ways of creating in our culture, the moments where everything was perfect and the moments where it all fell apart. We need to hear from each other.

Along with free flowing discussion groups, the goal is to connect with others as much as at it is to learn.
