Ep 64 - Learning Party stories - Andrew Benson

Ep 64 of the New Leaf Project is here!

In this episode we hear what Andrew Benson shared at a recent Learning Party about his work with The Joyful Project and the Concert for Socks.

Benson loves Jesus, throwing parties, and advocating for various social justice causes. He is currently serving as Community Outreach Officer with The Salvation Army and founder of The Joyful Project and Concert for Socks. Rumor has it that Benson is also highly skilled at staking chairs and neatly folding napkins at church potlucks.

The goal of a Learning Party is to connect with other Christ followers across denominational lines and see how the Spirit of God is working in various expressions in a region. We want people to be encouraged that they too can see ideas and dreams they have, come to fruition. Our vision is that those who've longed to start new things can see themselves in the stories of others and within God’s story. Story matters. It's sacred. Sharing the stories of others, at various stages of their lives and missional endeavours, helps us to see the heart and faithfulness of our God and inspires us to follow the Spirit of God in starting new things; you too can answer God’s call and follow Him in mission. This is Andrew’s story.
